I’ve mentioned before how proud I am to be an Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE). A talented team of ADEs has created APPitic, a directory featuring more than 1300 educational apps. The apps are organized into common subject/topic areas called themes. Those familiar with the concepts of multiple intelligences or Bloom’s taxonomy will also find suggestions for apps to support those learning frameworks. The most recent addition is a great collection of apps for special needs contributed by Jeanne Biddle. If you’re interested in apps for teaching and learning, APPitic is definitely worth a visit.
Excellent list. I plan to share it with superintendents, teachers, and technology coordinators that I deal with.
Thanks Nathan and thanks for sharing with others.
Awesome resource for our teachers! Thanks for sharing!
