Daytona State College Plans to Convert All Textbooks to Digital Formats
Daytona State College in Florida began an ambitious project in 2009 to offer all textbooks in electronic format. The goal is to drive down the cost of textbooks while making the content available on a variety of platforms and devices. According to school officials, this could reduce the cost of course materials by as much as 80 percent. More on the initiative here.
