Wireless Printing for the iPad Confirmed in iOS 4.2 beta

Apple released the beta version of iOS 4.2 to developers a few days ago. The update includes AirPrint, wireless printing software for the iPad and recent models of the iPhone and iPod touch devices. AirPrint should support a range of printers over Wi-Fi when the operating system update becomes available sometime in November. More in this article at ZDNet UK.

The article also states this “update brings multitasking to the iPad for the first time.” As I wrote back in May, I believe the iPad already has limited multitasking. This will certainly improve with the iOS 4.2 update.
