iPads in Higher Education – University of Houston Mobile Learning Study

A team of University of Houston professors is testing the use of iPads and a specially developed course app. The COMM 3353 iApp is being used by 30 students and four professors in an Information and Communication Technologies course. Faculty from the School of Communication and College of Education will evaluate the COMM 3353 initiative at the end of the fall semester. The iPad app was specifically built for the UH iPad Mobile-Learning Pilot Program and Research Study and will provide feedback for the university’s M-Learning mission. More here.
