Shared calendars are a great way to keep up with family appointments or organization events. You’ll be notified on your device whenever someone adds or changes an event in a shared calendar you’ve subscribed to. But perhaps those pesky alerts in notifications are not welcome or needed. Here’s how to silence the alerts from shared calendars on your iPhone or iPad.
Setting > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Scroll to the bottom of the column
Turn off Shared Calendar Alerts
Settings > Notifications > (INCLUDE) Calendar > Shared Calendar Changes
You’ll find a setting for Notification Sound as well as other ways to control this item.
