Set Up a Charging Station for iPhone or iPad – Revisited

In a previous post, I described a simple setup for creating your own USB charging station.

Friends visited our home during the holidays and recently asked where they could get a multi-port charger similar to mine. I did a little research and sent them this reply:

Their recommendation of Anker chargers is confirmed by other sources I follow.

You’ll need to provide your own cables to connect devices to the charger. (That leaves the cables you already have for traveling with your iPad or iPhone.) I recommend purchasing enough of the type you need to work with your devices. Amazon, Newegg and Monoprice are all good sources.
