APPitic – A Collection of More Than 1300 Educational Apps for iOS Devices

I’ve mentioned before how proud I am to be an Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE). A talented team of ADEs has created APPitic, a directory featuring more than 1300 educational apps. The apps are organized into common subject/topic areas called themes. Those familiar with the concepts of multiple intelligences or Bloom’s taxonomy will also find suggestions for apps to support those learning frameworks. The most recent addition is a great collection of apps for special needs contributed by Jeanne Biddle. If you’re interested in apps for teaching and learning, APPitic is definitely worth a visit.
