Apps On Sale, Free Apps and a Free Guide to iOS 5 for Your iPad

I try to keep track of iPad apps that may be useful or interesting, especially those that have recently dropped in price or on sale. Better yet is when a paid app goes free for a limited time. Here are five apps I recently added to my collection and a free Apple guide to iOS 5 on the iPad.

neu.Annotate PDF Free
As you know, I’m a fan of the versatile GoodReader app and believe it worth the $4.99 price. I especially like GoodReader’s PDF capabilities. However, I recently discovered neu.Annotate PDF will also read and annotate PDF documents and allow you to annotate with drawings, highlighting, text notes and stamps.

Softsign Free
Import PDF documents to Softsign for signature. You can open PDF documents direct from Mail, Evernote, or Dropbox – simply tap the attached file and select “Softsign” from the pop-up menu and your document will be automatically saved in the templates section of the app.

Toontastic Free
Making cartoons with Toontastic is as easy as putting on a puppet show – simply press the record button, move your characters onscreen, and tell your stories. Once you’re done, Toontastic will play back your animation and voice as a cartoon for you to share with friends and family.

My Translator Pro US $.99
My translator Pro is a personal translator that can translate any text or idiomatic expression in 52 different languages.

Pearltrees for iPad Free
Pearltrees’ unique visual interface lets you keep everything you like at hand so you can organize it your way. Collect web pages and turn them into pearls. Organize your pearls into pearltrees based on your interests.

iPad User Guide for iOS 5. On your next visit to the iBookstore with the iBooks app, be sure to pick up a free copy of Apple’s guide to the recently released iOS 5 for iPad.

I hope there’s also a sale for the Ghostwriter Notes app. My classmates have this app on their iPad, and they say that this is the best note-taking app ever. I believe them because I tried using it, and it was cool!
