A short time ago I referenced a Wall Street Journal article on how the iPad and assistive apps are helping children with speech and communication difficulties. Next month I’ll be leading a workshop for faculty at a local university where we’ll explore applications of the iPad in speech-language pathology. As part of the preparation I’m trying to keep up with articles on assistive technologies and the iPad. Yesterday TUAW posted an article on how the iPad is a versatile, low-cost device.
