one week ago, I wrote about Apple making it easier to find free apps in the App Store. Seems it just got more difficult. “Free On the App Store” is now gone from iTunes, replaced by “Great Free Apps.” Selecting ”Great Free Apps” now gives you only
New & Noteworthy and
Our Favorites. The ”Try Before You Buy” section has disappeared. “App Store Essentials” is new and suggests categories of apps. Also checked my iPod Touch access to the store and ”Try Before You Buy” is gone there too.
