To the list of colleges and universities from my previous posts here and here, we add Stanford, Oklahoma Christian University, Long Island University, Northwest Kansas Technical College, and Chicago State University. This article from today’s Huffington Post covers 11 colleges and universities with iPad initiatives. Each schools is introduced with a picture and accompanying link to more information.
Two other institutions not addressed in these articles are
Loyola University New Orleans, where students will use the iPad in a new class in digital media, and Abilene Christian University (ACU), exploring iPads in a pilot program with faculty and
library staff. Abilene Christian’s campus paper
The Optimist was reworked as a
digital edition for the iPad, the first campus newspaper of its kind. ACU was also one of the first universities to equip incoming freshmen with iPhones and iPod Touch devices.
