Back in June, I wrote about a soon-to-be-released iPad app called Inkling. Inkling is a platform for digital textbooks, a means to deliver print-based textbooks that are media rich and more interactive. Inkling for the iPad is now available. Only a few e-texts are ready now but more should be arriving soon through in-app purchase. You can purchase complete books or individual chapters and it’s possible to share notes about book content with others. The classic Elements of Style is included as a demo and tutorial.
