Apple has updated the
MobileMe iDisk app to include a version (1.2) for the iPad. MobileMe is Apple’s version of a cloud-based (online) service offering storage, mail, picture gallery, contacts, calendars and a few other useful utilities. The MobileMe service costs $99 per year. With the iDisk app you can view and share the files on your online iDisk. You also have the option to open iDisk documents in compatible apps on your iPad. (Full disclosure: As an Apple Distinguished Educator, I receive a complimentary MobileMe account.)
