Ken Follett’s novel “Pillars of the Earth” is being released today as an Amplified Edition, an interactive electronic book for Apple’s iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Videos and other content from the eight-hour Starz TV miniseries of Pillars are integrated within the digital text. More here from USA Today, including a video with highlights of the interactive features. The ”Pillars of the Earth” app is available through the iTunes Store for $12.99. Updates to the app will occur as the Starz miniseries progresses.
